LeQuel is a 15 year old Holsteiner gelding. He moved to the United States from Montreal when he was 7 and
began a career as an event horse. He successfully moved up the levels from Novice to Preliminary, and in
2004 placed well at his first CCI* three-day event. That summer LeQuel was selected to represent Area I at
the North American Young Rider’s Championships in the CCI*-J, and brought home team bronze and
individual gold. He later went on to complete a CCI**, and spent several years competing at the Intermediate
level. LeQuel also carried his owner to her Pony Club B and A ratings.
These days LeQuel enjoys going to preliminary level Horse Trials, as well as dabbling in the Adult Jumpers
and Dressage. He is also fond of long trail rides and getting as dirty as possible! LeQuel has only been part
of the Green Apple family since June, but he has happily settled in and enjoys hanging out with his stable
mate Leo and begging for treats.
