Skyy is a 9yr old bay TB gelding. Never raced, Skyy was very much a
"pasture pet" the first few years of his life. So when Jen bought him
as a fairly green 6 year old, she had to put alot of work into him.
When Jen first got Skyy, he was pretty skinny and very stubborn, but
over time Jen has fattened him up and taught him to relax and mind his
manners. All grown up, now he is as sweet as a puppy dog, very patient,
willing and well behaved. Skyy was used as a lesson horse for a few
years, has shown in the hunter ring, and has been on his fair share of
hunter paces. Now Jen & Skyy have been experimenting with dressage
and
might be hitting up some shows next spring.
Skyy's favorite activities include eating peppermints and grazing in
the field with his best buddies, Zamba & Nando.
